What does First Peoples class do?

You study authentic Indigenous literature (oral, written, visual) to explore First Nations experiences, values, and realities, focusing on themes like identity, resilience, land, justice, and reconciliation, using critical thinking and creative writing to understand diverse cultures and build connections through authentic voices, often incorporating local Indigenous content and teachings.

Is First People Class fun?

Yes. English first people is very fun since you get to study about Canada's history. you get to learn new stuff like their language and so on. English First Peoples is such an engaging way to explore literature because it swaps standard lectures for deep, meaningful conversations about identity, storytelling, and the powerful connections we share through our diverse histories and voices.
